Clayton Wyatt

Clayton Wyatt co-founded Vesta Ventures in 2021. He is a Managing Partner and oversees the direct real estate and venture capital strategies for the Vesta platform.

Prior to Vesta, he was the Chief Capital Officer at Alliant Capital, where he led a partner buyout in 2018 and eventual sale to Walker & Dunlop (NYSE: WD) in 2021. He also served as the Head of Corporate Strategy at Roofstock, working on M&A and Capital Markets. Prior to Roofstock and Alliant, he was a Vice President in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Jefferies where he primarily covered REIT and PropTech clients. He completed bookrunner/lead advisory transactions totaling more than $15 billion in value, including Alliant’s sale of Omni affordable housing to Stone Point Capital in 2014, (now owned by Nuveen). Mr. Wyatt has over 20 years of real estate experience including venture capital, private equity, brokerage, construction/development, structured finance and investment banking.

Clayton Wyatt completed his Bachelor's degree in Business/Real Estate Finance at the BYU Marriott School of Business in 2008. Clayton then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, he did a master’s thesis at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School on a REIT format for Ireland, which was eventually passed into law through the 2013 Irish Finance Act.
